Lore

Lizzy, the axolotl, has an almost explosive optimism and is always willing to help others, even if the “other” in question doesn’t need her help. That's why she might come out as intrusive sometimes, but it's always with the best of intentions!

She loves to make plans and fulfill them in the name of her friends, but she never knows what she wants for herself. She is sometimes afraid that she will never find a dream of her own, but helping her loved ones fulfill theirs already gives her enough to live for and she is really happy about it.

Strategy

Fast Characters:

Try to pick a fight that you can win, if you have PI then it's much easier, because a slow fast character is most likely a dead fast character. Spear in, spam the eggs and bowl bomb, back off and then use bow once further away. By the time that you've hit your bow shot, the character's most likely one low health and will try to run away. At this point stay in long range and just slowly tail them so that you can avoid their ranged attacks but you can hit your bow shots.

Herself:

Try fight them in a grassy area but if they're a higher level than you, DO NOT GET IN CLOSE RANGE. Dodge their bow shots and wait for them to attack first. When all their weapons are on cooldown get in middle range and don't use spear, try hit and run tactic but if that doesn't work than use your spear to escape and wait for them to be on lower health.

Tanks:

Keep your distance, even if they're a lower level than you. Bowl bombs and fight around an open area so you can use the bow. The fountain is best because you can shoot your bow while they are stuck on the other side. If they start to chase then just spear away and continue shooting bow but if they start to get close, spear away then bowl bomb back. Wait until they are further away and then repeat the process.

Snipers:

Try knocking them into water or take cover while spamming eggs and taking potshots at them. Best choice is to get close with them as snipers find it hard to fight close range. Spear in with bomb, spam the eggs and use bow further away.

DPS:

DPS characters can be a problem, because they have a lot of damage and can kill you since Lizzy has little health, so the tactic is shoot them with your bow and bomb and then use your spear to escape, if they are catching up to you, spam eggs to damage them and then, depending on remaining health and character, chase them or follow them at a distance while shooting at them. Tip: try to make them use at least one health kit before chasing them.

• Lizzy is the first character to be able to heal your teammates.
• When enemies step on your egg, you heal about 1/20 of your health.
• A lot of people think Lizzy is a lizard, but in fact, she is an axolotl.
• If left alone for a while, Lizzy's eggs will slowly disappear and stacking an egg on another will reset the timer for the eggs to disappear.
• Lizzy's eggs give a slight knock back to enemies.
• Lizzy’s ‘This is Fine’ (The fire) emote is a reference to the infamous meme of a dog sitting in fire drinking a cup of coffee.
• In real life, Axolotls can regrow their limbs which is where her passive "Regeneration" comes from.
• Lizzy, Skippy, and Betsy are the only characters with 3 charges of their actives. Edna used to have 3, but this was buffed to 5 in the halloween 2023 update.
